Fairy Webs

Fairy Webs are fun to make. I haunt thrift shops and junk shops to find bits and pieces for my favorite fairies. They have lots of fun swinging on the dangling pieces and climbing over the twirls. Lots of jingles, pretty glass and feathers adorn their playgrounds.

Freeform fiber art is my passion, but I also do regular crochet, knit, embroider, needle felt, and spin. A retired seminary-educated non-profit manager, I began my work career in journalism and public relations. While I have lived in a number of states, I fell in love with alpacas in Central Florida, and I loved to visit the local farms and take photos of animals, flowers, sky, and other interesting things. This blog is devoted to my own fiber creations and explorations with occasional reviews and photos of other inspirational works.
